Pete Tripp, my wonderful little brother, and so loved by so many wonderful people, died Sunday January 16th, 2004 in an avalanche. He was telemarking in the back country with friends who were snowboarding, which he loved to do, they had taken all precautions, but he avalanche came from above them. Brian Brett was buried immediately, Sean Forbes was waiting by a tree & thus pushed into a nearby tree and luckily not hurt, and Pete was (according to Sean) able to 'surf' and ride the avalanche for about a quarter of a mile before he was thrown into a tree. I am forever amazed with you Pete, and proud of you and all the good you have done in this world. You are always my brother, and I will work forever to try & improve the world, as you were trying to do: through good deeds, kindness and activity in the community (both local & global) and through better living, and teaching positive life-philosophies.

I love you Pete, and I'll miss you.
