Well - it's only 9:22pm

ok, I finally got the kids to bed, picked up the misc. toys all over the living room & dining room & kitchen & hallway (don't want anyone to trip or fall!) and those left in the driveway (don't want them run over; that would be terrible & it's hard to see toys at night) - sooo : I get to go to bed now, yay~

It's 2 hours later then usual, but it's cool 'cause the kids got an unplanned playdate with novamx3's kids, which rocks - they always have a great time. His kids wanted to use "feamo" you know "feeaeamo" - I finally figured out it was "Fimo" - so we spent the first hour playing outside (bikes, scooters, gatorade, then water, then juice (hot!) then dinner outside picnic style on the kids table (mac & cheese, blue corn chips, more liquids, & dry cereals for dessert) _ that was fun & easy to clean up! Yay. Then we came in & did Fimo, after a game Of "guess what we're talking about" heh heh.. no, jk.. kinda. So I got the Fimo out & they did sculptures & I baked them in this little toaster I got as a bday gift years ago & I just love that I have it so I can do fimo/polymer clay sculptures & beads : sooo fun. Someday I'll get a cheap pasta maker so I can do even more cool stuff w/this clay).

I got in 2 workouts today - elliptical & abs work/stretching.. and I'm going to do leg work/resistance before bed; it's easy w/these little Walgreens workout stuff I got that is made by Bally Fitness: it rocks.

Anyhow - I have sooooo very far to go before I feel I will be in shape, but I have to keep working at it! I keep telling myself, I've been fit _most_ of my life, really - just fell out of it after having a baby, then getting in that big car wreck (SUV ran a red light; luckily I was the only one in our car/whew) - and then another kiddo - so now it's time to get serious about fitness & stay serious: it's worth it. I feel Soooo much better when I'm a better weight, & muscular - For example! I have not had to use my asthma inhaler in a long time: Even with all this heat!! I haven't even been remembering to carry it anymore -I took it to the concert because I knew I would be dancing for all 3 hours or so ; but otherwise, I try to keep it in my purse, but realized today I haven't had it in there for at least 2 weeks! Wow, good think I did not need it! Heh. But, it's because I've been exercising: I'm certain of it! I don't get winded as much, I breathe better, I have more energy, I just feel better and can do more, and don't get as tired: it's great.

But, I still have a long way to go! But, I'll get there.

Not much else to say, so I'm going to bed, but before that, this was a fun & thought-provoking meme: It's one of my favorites in a long time. =)
