Everything we have is all we need
All the spotlights streaming into angry skies
Means there's no one watching as we leave
Say the first thing that
Comes into your head when you see me
If it looks like it works and it feels like it works
Then it works
With the sun on your face
All these worries will soon disappear"
Thunderstorm blowing in over Mt. Bachelor; was still sunny at the lake where we were, casting that sunny line between the lake and the mountain ( and you can see it in the shadow cast on the mountain, how far the storm was over the peak). I love watching rain fall out of the sky from a distance: it's how the clouds just melt/rip/tear/fall down in sheets - it's so huge it kinda mesmerizes me, like other natural phenomenon can - you know, staring into a campfire to try & see the colors shift in the coals as they burn and you contemplate how warm your front is & how cold your back is... like watching a lightning storm and trying to figure how frequently the lightning is apart & mentally calculating if you can guess when the next flash is... like leaves falling into a river and rushing downstream & away out of site.. just watching them go.
