write it down

nighttime is good for the soul

It's just past Midnight & I just finished mopping the kitchen & dining room, again.

Sometimes I think my friend who nick-named me "Cinderella" was too right. Ah well. Then I went out in the yard (um to shake out a rug & take out the recycling) - & the night breeze was like a kiss on my face: so warm and quiet and lovely.
I just stood outside for a little bit and let it all sink in.

I really love being outside at night. It's one of my favorite things, and I have no idea why. Maybe it's the quiet. Maybe it's the dark, or the lack of emotional madness around me pecking at my empathic soul. Maybe it's because it's so forbidden.         But honestly, I think it's just because it's calm. I love the night.

Alright; 'nuf of a break, I've been thinking too much & it made me drift back to the computer. heh.

Now I'm off to mop the living room, and the hallways. Then I think I'll either go back to my reading, play music, or sleep. Whatever suits my mood. G'night.

So glad to see you well, overcome them
Completely silent now
With heaven's help
You've cast your demons out

And not to pull your halo down
Around your neck and tug you off your cloud
But I'm more than just a little curious
How you're plannin' to go about makin' your amends
To the dead
