Somebody remind me to buy the low-sodium version from now on! An 8 oz can of regular v8 has 880mg of salt!
"Sodium Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA)
The current recommendation is to consume less than 2,400 milligrams (mg) of sodium a day. This is about 1 teaspoon of table salt per day. It includes ALL salt and sodium consumed, including sodium used in cooking and at the table." -taken from this diet and nutrition website...
And then I check my lentil cous-cous soup I ate with it, which has 310mg of sodium... I think the peach was pretty sodium-free (I hope) but my berry juicy juice (and on their website everything is jumping out at you: wild!).. it had 10mg of salt.
That's 1200mg of sodium in my lunch, out of a recommended max for the day of 2400? I feel like I've eaten a salt lick for lunch!?
